I have been planning on going through the  'real' camera photos, selecting/posting and of course writing a long post about my foodie adventures in Istanbul, but alas the lazy streak is still strong in this one. After taking the Seine river cruise in Paris, we realized that it was late and we had an hour to eat and then return to a certain station, to catch the last train to our hotel. So we ditched the plan to have dinner at this fancy shmancy restaurant we had orginally planned for cuz it was about an hour away from where we were, and we decided to venture out into the streets nearby. We came upon this cute little street filled with small cafes and bistros and restaurants... so we picked one and this is how it turned out. The food was good (wee bit expensive for the portions), the service and the ambiance were great.

note to self: Do look up some photos of the street and upload later.
